Photo Class

My photography workshop will be this weekend, spots are limited because I will be divulging the greatest secrets of cameras and their amazing powers. Once you get it and it all 'clicks', it is very easy to get the shots you want. Two great photography quotes are: "Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst" by Henri Cartier-Bresson and "If you want to be a better photographer, stand in front of more interesting stuff” by Jim Richardson.

Mix it up

I try to give my clients a variety of styles - from classic to awesome to whaaat?! I love it when they have a distinct theme or interest that I can incorporate into their set, especially when it involves digital artistry like this engagement session couple. I did have to do some Google research for I am merely a muggle.

Downtown OS

Hope you had a great 4th! Recently had an engagement session where we tried to get a 'middle of the street' shot. It proved to be more difficult than we thought. Didn't want to interrupt the steady traffic so we remained on the sidewalk. Legally, if we caused traffic to stop, we could get charged with jaywalking. It's also illegal to shoot on or near railroad tracks, so be careful. The sidewalk stroll worked out great with a lot less danger.
